I had the most fun with this family! I met mama through blogging and loved her right away, but it was just recently that I was able to meet and spend some time with the entire crew in "real" life (as if blogging is not real!). They all amazed me! Smart, funny, and spunky to boot!

Little H was not sure about me but we still got a few shots (without puzzle in hand) despite his best efforts.

The "negotiator"- I was allowed to take a handful of portraits of this little man. In exchange, I will be sending him his own print of the puzzle he'd been working on. You drive a tough bargain, buddy.

This sweet girl made my job cake! She was completely comfortable in front of the camera.

With all this rain I've been rescheduling outdoor sessions like crazy. I've been getting restless. Yesterday I just had to play. So I pulled out my camera and grabbed hold of my favorite little one year old. It was lots of fun. More chasing and tackling than shooting I think. I am in Love with this girl!!

Face Lift {Asheville NC Photographer}

Hey ya'll. So you may (or may not)have noticed my blog has had a major Face Lift. I'm super excited about the changes! It is still a work in progress though, so thanks for your patience while I work through a few more kinks! (If you had any idea the number of hours I've been plucking away at this thing to get it this far you would be on your feet doing a happy dance for me right now! Seriously. I had an entire night's dream in html.)

I loved this one of Cody- I had to post it. But that is it for now. I need to save some surprises for my new website that is currently under construction. What was that? New website? Woohooo!! I'm super excited!!! Maybe all the exclamation points clued you into that already! It's still a little ways off but definately going to happen. Sometime. This year even!!

Miss Olivia- on getting bigger {Asheville NC Childrens Photographer}

It is always so hard to narrow it down to just a sneak peek for the blog. This last one may be one of my all time favorite kid shots. Ever. I love, love her expression. It is full of sweetness and wonder. I'm going to miss watching this little one grow. I'm going to miss photographing those huge, beautiful blue eyes! Good luck with the move. We'll miss you!

A Thanksgiving Post

I cannot find the words to express how thankful I am to have these three little busy body's in my life. They make me crazy. They keep me sane! They make me cry. They make me laugh! They have made me stretch and grow (more than a million Molten Cakes ever could). They have taught me more than I ever thought possible. I am so thankful they call me Mom.

Making new friends

I've been going nutso with the camera lately. And loving every minute of it. I took my little one to the park earlier this week to get some pictures and while I was there I met this little man. He was such a cutie pie, I just had to take a few for his Mama. When we were all done he gave me a great big hug. Irresistible.

On a roll

This session really made me want a sister (Thank heavens for wonderful sisters-in-law!). Seeing these two interact was so much fun! They just seem like the best of friends. They were so much fun and such naturals in front of the camera. I really want to post the entire session because I am in love with them all but that would take forever, so for now, here are a just a few.

I'm still kicking!

Lately I've been MIA. Life has been so crazy busy since we came home from Idaho but I feel like I've finally gotten (closer to being) caught up. And I've had a chance to do a few sessions. So, without further adieu... here are some of my favorite boys ever! And their parents are kind of high up there too!

Sisters

These girls got along so great! (I love that big sis has a hold of baby's toe in the first one.) They were all so sweet! And fun to photograph!

Baby Ezra

This session was extra special because this little guy is my nephew, Ezra. We had the chance to go west to visit family for a couple of weeks and he was born just a couple of days before we got there. We were able to see him in all his newborn sweetness. He was such a content little guy! I think the first one is my new "favorite". I just want to snuggle him up. Congratulations Crystal and Justin on your beautiful little boy!

Mason

Just wanted to share one of my little man. It's hard to believe he'll be turning two years old next week! He is such a "class clown" and will do anything for a laugh. I am so blessed to be his Momma.

Brothers

Some of our old friends were in town for the weekend and we were finally able to coordinate schedules to get some pictures of their boys. They've grown up sooo much. It was tons of fun!

Sneak Preview...

3 1/2 months just flew by!

I cannot believe how quickly the first three months with miss Brittain have gone! She is such a joy. She's starting to coo and smile all the time! So much fun!
